Sheffield Wednesday fans are pleased with the team named to face Derby County tonight.
The Owls still haven’t won in the league since Jos Luhukay became their manager and it’s going to be a tough task to get that first win in this match. Derby have been doing very well this season and are currently 3rd in the Sky Bet Championship. They will be keen to win this game to get back into the automatic promotion zone and with Wednesday being poor recently, they will be thinking they can do it.
But while some Wednesday fans are already getting down on the Luhukay reign, they do appear to be pleased with the team he has named for this match. Following on from their 1-1 draw with South Yorkshire rivals Barnsley, Luhukay has made six changes to the first team. Atdhe Nuhiu, Morgan Fox, Jordan Thorniley, Liam Palmer, Ross Wallace and David Jones are out with Sean Clare, Jordan Rhodes, Glenn Loovens, Daniel Pudil, Jack Hunt and George Boyd coming in.
Many have noted the inclusion of Clare, making his first start for the club after initially coming on as a substitute in the Steel City derby match against Sheffield United. There is also some interest about the formation as it appears that the team will be going back to playing 4-4-2 after playing a 5-3-2 since Luhukay has become the manager. But while this is a lot of change for one match, they are changes that the fans are embracing as they hope for a return to form.
That’s the best squad he could have picked with the players we have #swfc

Might be proved wrong but with what we have available like that Wednesday 11! Fox needed to be out the team and nice to see Clare start. Also imo Boyd far better than Wallace! Still major concern is loovens at back. Joao good foil for Rhodes #swfc
