Ismail chooses County over Scottish move

Exciting Wolves winger Zeli Ismail looks set to turn down a move to Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen in favour of a move to League One side Notts County.

The 20-year-old impressed whilst on loan at League Two side Burton Albion last campaign, and Notts County boss Shaun Derry has jumped at the chance to borrow the winger this term.

Wolves head coach Kenny Jackett told The Express and Star:

“Zeli has chosen to go to Notts County and it’s a good move for him.

“He’s stepping up from League Two last season with a good Burton Albion team that got to the play-off final to League One.

“It will be interesting to see if he can prove himself because to make his mark in League One is a good step up. It’s until Christmas and then we’ll assess it then.”

County are also rumoured to be considering loan moves for midfielder David Davis and striker Jake Cassidy, both also contracted to Wolves.
