Norwich head coach Daniel Farke was delighted with the way his team performed and thought it was a scandal that they didn’t get all three points.
He told the club website: “The result is a scandal,”
“When you watch our performance, perhaps in the first 15 minutes, it was a close game.
“Derby had that one strike after 10/15 minutes when they took the lead but in general, this was their only strike on our goal.
“We totally dominated the last 75 minutes. We were creating chances and didn’t give one chance away.
“We missed several really good chances, the biggest chance was the penalty we missed. We had another two-against-one situation against the goalkeeper and that normally would be a goal.
“We got another penalty and we scored a goal, although a goal was denied and we had to score with the penalty. We had several shooting positions – Nelson [Oliveira] from 12 metres and then out of two metres when the goalkeeper was there with a brilliant save.”
