Neither Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday were able to end their poor form after they drew 1-1.
The Tykes had not had a good week after their head coach Paul Heckingbottom decided to leave the club to become the new Leeds United manager. In the other dug out, Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay is still looking for his first league win as the club are further dragged into a battle against relegation.
And unfortunately for both sides in this tense South Yorkshire derby, neither side could get the win. Wednesday did take the lead when they were given a penalty after Andy Yiadom fouled Lucas Joao in the box. Atdhe Nuhiu was able to step up and convert the spot kick. But just a few minutes later Oliver McBurnie would get the equaliser for Barnsley, instantly warming himself to the fans after netting on his debut.
That would be it but what was the reaction from both sides? Well we have it here.
