5 free agent left-backs who Birmingham City could sign

Birmingham City are in the hunt for a new left-back after an injury to Jonathan Grounds, according to their official website. Here are five they could sign for free-

Tripy Makonda- The 28 year-old is currently without a club after being released by Portuguese side Academica in the summer. He has previously spent his career playing in his native France with PSG and Brest. He would be a good short-term option for the Blues.

Hrvoje Milic- The Croatia international is vastly experienced and looking for a new club. The 28 year-old has previously played for a wide variety of clubs like Hadjuk Splik, FC Rostov, Fiorentina and most recently Olympiakos. His contract with the Greek champions was terminated on 31st January so he is looking to sign for a new club as soon as possible.

Samu de los Reyes- The 25 year-old Spaniard was released by Cordoba in the summer. He has spent the last two seasons on loan in the Spanish second division at Lugo and Llagostera and is on the hunt for a new club.

Aidy White- The former Leeds United, Rotherham United and Barnsley left-back is still a free agent after being released by the Tykes in the summer. He has played in the Championship before and could be considered by Birmingham to fill in at left-back.

Javier Garrido- The 32 year-old Spanish left-back has been linked with Nottingham Forest but Birmingham should try and lure him to St. Andrews. He has played in England before for Manchester City and Norwich City and would be a decent coup by the Blues.
