Paul Heckingbottom
They do say you should buy local! Heckingbottom is the current head coach of Barnsley and he has been nothing short of brilliant for them. As caretaker manager he guided them from the Sky Bet League One to the play-off final, which they won to seal promotion to the Sky Bet Championship. And even though they have ended up selling a lot of players over the last few years, Heckingbottom has done well to reshape the squad and be able to recruit able replacements. He would definitely be a sensible choice as he is someone waiting for a big opportunity with a club with more resources than Barnsley has.
