Neil Warnock was the last man laughing as his Cardiff City side beat former team Leeds United 4-1.

Warnock always enjoys facing one of his former teams and he would have enjoyed this game particularly as his side make it look easy as they swept past Leeds. Early on in the match they took the lead when Cardiff took advantage of Leeds not being able to clear the ball and were able to cross the ball back in for Callum Paterson to head in.

The game would all kick off though towards the end of the first half. Firstly, Paterson’s shot ended up being a far better cross which landed at the feet of Junior Hoilett who would then score. Secondly, Gaetano Berardi would end up being sent off for a second bookable offence. And to make things worse for Leeds, the free kick from that sending off resulted in a cross to Sean Morrison who headed in.

In the second half there was a bright point for Leeds when Sol Bamba put the ball into his own goal. But this terrible game for Leeds would be confirmed when Anthony Pilkington tapped in to make it four for Cardiff.

In a game like this, you have to see what the reactions from both camps were!
