Reported Bolton Wanderers transfer target Michiel Kramer could yet sign for the Sky Bet Championship club after being released by Dutch top flight outfit Feyenoord according to The Bolton News.
The Trotters have been linked with a move for the 29-year-old Rotterdam born frontman during the past few days but a deal was not forthcoming prior to the closure of the transfer window.
It has now been reported that Kramer has left Feyenoord and the player is able to join another club outside of the transfer window as a free agent.
News of the striker’s release could interest Bolton Wanderers boss Phil Parkinson with The Trotters in need of extra firepower following in-form forward Gary Madine’s £6 million move to Cardiff City on Transfer Deadline Day. Wanderers have fallen back into the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone and the club need to find the goals which will drive them to safety.
Dutch striker Kramer started his career with NAC Breda before finding the back of the net on a regular basis with FC Volendam. A move to ADO Den Haag saw the player average just under a goal every other game before joining latest club Feyenoord where he has spent the past two-and-a-half years of his career.
Kramer is expected to remain in his homeland however a move to the English game could be a mouth-watering prospect.
