Crawley Town sign winger Young

Crawley Town have confirmed via their official website that they have sealed the signing of Lewis Young on a one-year-deal making The Reds summer signing rise to eleven.

The 24-year-old applied his trade with Aldershot &  Bury last season taking his professional appearances over 100.

After a successful trail within the clubs pre-season Reds boss John Gregory only had good works to say for the winger:

“Lewis gives us something different. He’s quick and can play on either flank and even up front. We think he’s got a lot to offer and it’s our job to create the right environment for him to flourish.”

John Gregory continued speaking about Young’s recent form in Crawley’s Pre-season games:

“The signs are that we are doing that because he has been excellent in pre-season training and we saw flashes of what he is capable of on Friday against Billingshurst with his performance in the first half.”

Lewis’s older brother Ashley is currently under contract at Manchester United, He will be handed the No.14 shirt for the forth coming season.
