Oldham Athletic looking to sign Swedish striker

Oldham Athletic are looking to bring Swedish striker Richard Yarsuvat to the club, according to Sport Bladet.

Oldham Athletic target, Richard Yarsuvat was the top scorer of 2017 Superettan for Dalkurd FF with 17 goals in 27 games, but left the club after only one season following their promotion to the top-tier.

Richard Yarsuvat is a prolific goalscorer in the Swedish Leagues.  In 2014-2015 Yarsuvat played 46 times for Norrby IF and managed to score 32 goals for the club. Then he joint the club back in 2016, this time playing 24 games for the club and netted 19 goals. Following this impressive season he earned himself a move to Dalkurd FF and scored 17 in 27 games.

The fast striker is on his way to Oldham Athletic in English League One . Richard Yarsuvat told Sport Bladet “I’m in England and meet a club, that’s right. I have received a contract proposal and have talked with the manager and sports manager. They have seen me play and know me well.”

Oldham Athletic are believed to be signing F.C. Nantes defenders Wilfried Moimbé and Enock Kwateng on loan until the end of the season. Wilfried Moimbé has featured 23 times for F.C. Nantes whereas Enock Kwateng has only appeared nine times for the French club.

Also, Oldham Athletic have completed the loan signing of Wolves striker Duckens Nazon until the end of the season. He was loaned to Sky Bet League Two side Coventry City where he made 24 appearances and scored eight goals.

Oldham host Plymouth Argyle this weekend hoping to pick up a much-needed three points as Latics battle to avoid the drop. Oldham are currently 22nd in League One and was knocked out of the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday against Shrewsbury in a 2-1 defeat. Wellens admitted his job could be in danger if results don’t pick up soon.
