Wolves are supposedly preparing an offer for free agent Nathan Delfouneso after being released from Premiership club Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old striker could very well fill the void Leigh Griffiths has left since his transfer away from the club back in January.
During Delfouneso’s time at The Villans he has been plagued with injurys meaning he has only managed a mere 29 appearances in his six seasons with the club, The Ex-England youth has had numerous loans to clubs like Burnely, Leicester, Blackpool & most recently Coventry all of which have not sparked Delfouneso’s potential.
Even with Delfouneso’s history there are still believed to be several clubs rumoured to be interested in his signature but it is Wolves who are leading the chase.
With a lack of strikers currently at Wolves where better can Delfouneso maybe finally put his injurys behind him and lead the line for a team that ransacked League 1 defences helping themselves to almost 100 goals last season.
