Norwich City, Derby County and Sunderland all want West Brom midfielder

Championship trio Norwich City, Derby County and Sunderland are all interested in signing West Brom midfielder Sam Field on loan, according to HITC Sport.

The 19 year-old is highly rated by Premier League side West Brom but could be allowed to leave on loan before the end of the transfer window as their manager, Alan Pardew, would like him to gain some more first-team experience.

Field is a lifelong West Brom fan and has came up through the academy of his boyhood club. He made his debut for them on 15th May 2016 in a game against Liverpool. He has since played 15 more times for them.

He is now a target of various Championship clubs. Norwich City are showing a keen interest in taking him on loan. They have lost a number of key players in this transfer window including Alex Pritchard to Huddersfield Town, Cameron Jerome to Derby County and Russell Martin to Rangers. They are now looking for some players, like Field, to bolster their squad for the rest of the campaign.

Derby County are also showing an interest. They are currently 2nd in the Championship and are hoping to get promotion to the Premier League under Gary Rowett.

Sunderland are the final club being credited with an interest. They are hoping to sign a couple of players to help boost their survival chances. They are also being linked with loan moves for Derby’s Chris Martin and Wolves winger Ben Marshall.

Sam Field is a man in demand and it will be interesting to see where he goes.
