Derby County and Leeds United priced as potential buyers for Liverpool striker

Derby County and Leeds United have been priced as teams that could sign Liverpool’s Danny Ings according to odds published by Bet Victor.

Liverpool went to a lot of effort to sign the 25-year-old striker from Burnley, even having to go to court to decide a tribunal fee after a deal could not be agreed between the clubs after Ings joined Liverpool at the end of his contract. Unfortunately, that effort has not been worth it yet. He has suffered serious long-term injuries during his time at Anfield which has caused him to struggle to break into the first team. For instance he has only made three appearances for Liverpool this season.

And some reports have said that Liverpool might cut their losses during this transfer window and sell Ings. This had led to a lot of interest with most of it coming from the Premier League. The current favourites to sign the one-time capped England striker are Newcastle United with them being priced at 3/1. Other sides who have been given odds are Bournemouth, priced at 6/1 and would be a return for the striker after he made his name there in the early part of his career, Stoke City and Southampton.

But a few teams from the Sky Bet Championship are also being tipped with potential moves for Ings according to the bookies. Both Derby and Leeds have been favoured for moves with Bet Victor pricing both sides at 16/1. Other Championship sides that have been priced are Wolves, Middlesbrough and Norwich City with all three of them being priced at 20/1.
