Wolves are joint favourites alongside Swansea City to sign AC Milan’s Andre Silva according to odds set by Bet Victor.
Ever since getting a big money takeover in 2016, there have been plenty of reports linking Wolves to players no one would have expected them to sign. While many of them didn’t come off, there was plenty of shock when Ruben Neves completed a move to Molineux in the summer. And recently, Wolves have been linked with an even more shocking name, with reports saying they had made a £35m bid for Silva.
Silva had been a hotshot for FC Porto before making a move to AC Milan in the summer. But this move hasn’t worked out with him yet to score in Serie A though he did impress fans when he scored a hat trick against FK Austria Wien in the Europa League. This had made it more likely that he would leave in this transfer but not many expected him to be linked to a side in the Sky Bet Championship.
And not many would have expected them to be the favourites to sign Silva, with Bet Victor pricing Wolves at 4/1 to sign the Portuguese international. However Swansea City have the same likelihood of signing him having been given the same odds as they look to snap him up to help in their fight against relegation. Everton are also in the race according to bookies having been priced at 6/1 while West Ham United aren’t far off with odds of 12/1.
