Leeds United are in the hunt to sign Hull City winger

Leeds United are interested in signing young Hull City winger Tyler Hamilton, according to Football Insider.

The Whites are also trying to sign Forest Green midfielder Jordan Stevens as well as Hamilton as they look to bring some youth into Elland Road.

Tyler Hamilton, 19, has made just a single appearance for Hull City in his career. This came in August in a League Cup fixture away at League One side Doncaster Rovers.

Hamilton, who was born in Hull, is highly rated by the Yorkshire club and is being tipped for a big future at the KCOM Stadium. He joined Hull City at the age of 8 and signed a contract with them in July 2016. He is currently a regular for their development squad.

He has also been on the bench for Hull on a couple of occasions this season. Nigel Adkins will not want to lose him this January and especially not to a Championship rival like Leeds United.

Leeds are very keen to bolster their U23 development squad, hence why they are targeting players like Tyler Hamilton and Forest Green midfielder Jordan Stevens. Stevens, 17, has been a regular for the League Two side this season and Leeds will have to face competition for his signature from the Premier League.

It is good to see Leeds looking to buy youth and are considering the future of the club. For Hull City and Forest Green fans, they will both be hoping that they can keep hold of their young stars and see off interest from the Whites this month.
