Trio of Aston Villa youngsters not available for loan

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that young trio Andre Green, Keinan Davis and Callum O’Hare are not available for loan during the current transfer window according to the Birmingham Mail.

The youngsters have played occasional roles in the first team squad at Villa Park so far this season and the trio are set to continue their immediate development in B6 with no loan moves set to be sanctioned by the Sky Bet Championship club.

Winger Green has made seven senior outings for Villa so far this term and has already interested scouts of English Premier League clubs with Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth thought to be tracking the England Under-20 international as reported by The72.

Forward Davis’ 22 outings for Villa during 2017/2018 sees the player having gained the most experience of the trio while fellow frontman O’Hare has featured on eight occasions with the youngster having made his senior debut in the 2-1 EFL Cup win against Colchester United at The Weston Homes Community Stadium in August.

Villa find themselves just five points adrift of the Sky Bet Championship automatic promotion places with 20 matches remaining and the daunting fixture schedule which the division provides means that a large squad will be required by the club between now and the end of the season if they are to push for a top two finish.

While Green, Davis and O’Hare may not be fielded every week, the trio have important parts to play for Villa and manager Bruce has made it clear that gaining experience with their parent club is the route which the players must take.
