PREVIEW: Millwall looking for more home success

Millwall will be looking to add more points to their tally at the Den as they face Preston.

Millwall are currently sat in 15th position in their first season back in the Sky Bet Championship, having won the Sky Bet League One play-offs last season.

The hosts are very good on their own patch and have shown that in recent weeks. Neil Harris’ men were able to hold runaway leaders Wolves to a draw.

They also picked up their last league victory at the Den having beaten London rivals QPR. Veteran striker Steve Morison scored his first of the season as they secured the points.

Despite Morison scoring in back to back games back at his former side Norwich City. Morison’s goal was not enough to condemn the Lions to a 2-1 defeat.

Tom Trybull and James Maddison were also on the score sheet on New Years Day to aid Norwich to victory.

Opponents Preston are doing very well this season under boss Alex Neil. They currently sit 9th in the Sky Bet Championship, just two points behind the play-off spots.

Preston’s recent away form as been rather good having picked up four points in their last two away trips. A goalless draw with Barnsley was followed up by a 1-0 win at Cardiff.

Tom Clarke bundled home a 90th minute winner as Neil’s side came away with the points.

These two sides met earlier in the season at Deepdale with both sides cancelling each other out in a 0-0 draw.
