Ipswich Town, QPR and Reading are considering making moves for Barnsley’s Tom Bradshaw according to a report from the Sunday Mirror via TWTD.
While Barnsley are towards the wrong end of the table at the moment, they are currently 19th in the Sky Bet Championship, they have had plenty of good performers who are making sure they are not in the relegation zone. One of these good performers has been Bradshaw who signed from Walsall in 2016 and has been a great striker for them ever since. This year he has been able to score 11 goals and this form has been noticed by some of Barnsley’s Championship rivals.
Ipswich, QPR and Reading are all currently taking a look at Bradshaw and could make a move for him in the next few days. Both Reading and QPR are in the same part of the table that Barnsley are, something that is unacceptable for the former because they came so close to getting promoted to the Premier League last season after making it into the play-off final. Ipswich got off to a surprisingly good start to the season but have since dropped off and are 12th in the table.
All three teams would love to add another goalscorer, though it should be noted that Ipswich may not be as interested in a striker as the report indicates because they appear happy to sell Kieffer Moore after he had a productive loan spell with Rotherham United. Bradshaw is already proven at this level and would certainly be a great signing should any team be able to lure him away from Oakwell.
