There is no doubt that Hull City are in a relegation scrap at the moment and need to make some signings. Here are 5 players who were linked with the Tigers in the summer and whether or not they could try and sign any of them now-
Ahmed Musa- The Nigerian striker turned down a season-long loan move to Hull City in the summer as he wanted to try and break into Leicester’s team. He can’t do this though which means it is likely that he will leave them now. However, a big factor of him moving to Hull was Leonid Slutsky who he worked with at CSKA Moscow and he has now left the club, so a move is now unlikely.
Isaac Success- Hull, along with Sheffield Wednesday, were both linked with loan moves for the Watford striker in August. Moves did not happen but he can’t get in Watford’s team now so a loan move to the Championship is a likely possibility.
Jack Colback- The 26 year-old midfielder was rumoured to be a target for various Championship clubs in the summer, including Hull. It looks like a move away from Newcastle will happen this January but his destination is yet to be known. Could Nigel Adkins swoop for him?
Ryan Kent- The Liverpool winger ended up going to Freiburg but that move has not worked out. He was linked with Hull in the summer and is set to leave on loan again. He will be a man in demand though and if Hull did re-ignite their interest they would face a lot of competition from other Championship sides.
Cameron Brannagan- The Independent linked Hull with a move for the Liverpool youngster in the summer. This is a deal that the Tigers could go back to pursue.
