Premier League duo show interest in £8 million rated Hull City star

Premier League duo Brighton and Swansea City are showing an interest in Hull City winger Jarrod Bowen, according to the Daily Mail.

The 21 year-old has been in fine form for the Tigers this season and has scored 11 goals. He has been Hull’s best player in a start to the campaign for them and they will not want to lose him in January.

Hull are no strangers to selling players and sold a large number of their key players in the summer like Harry Maguire, Sam Clucas, Andy Robertson, Curtis Davies and Tom Huddlestone, with their owners pocketing the majority of the money from the sales and not re-investing it back in the squad.

The Tigers rate Bowen at around £8 million and he is attracting interest from Brighton and Swansea, who are two teams in the Premier League who will be looking to stay up this season.

Bowen joined Hull from Hereford in 2015 and was signed by Steve Bruce. He made his debut in a League Cup tie against Exeter City in August 2016 and went onto play a handful of matches for Hull last season.

He made his Premier League debut against Watford in October 2016 and also played for Hull in their League Cup semi-final game against Manchester United in the last campaign too. He has broken into the first-team this season and is now one of the Tigers’ most prized assets.

Hull fans will be hoping that they can see off interest from the top flight for Bowen but many in the back of their minds will expect him to leave the club with any offer likely to make their owners see pound signs and make them suck even more money from the club.
