Crystal Palace, Derby County and Bristol City are all chasing giant Gillingham goalkeeper Tomas Holy.
Gillingham goalkeeper Tomas Holy is attracting interest from a number of Premier League and Championship clubs after impressing for the League One club.
Holy joined Gillingham last January from Sparta Prague and he has established himself as No.1 goalkeeper at the Priestfield with the keeper ever-present so far this season.
The 6ft 9in shot stopper, has six clean sheets for Gillingham this season and his performances have certainly caught the eye of clubs higher up in the football pyramid.
The 26 year-old has created himself a reputation as one of the best keepers in League One with his sheer size and presence making him a formidable barrier for opposition forward lines.
Gills boss Steve Lovell would be very reluctant to sell Tomas Holy in the New Year but might be encouraged if the cash received could be used to bolster the Gills squad in an effort to stave off growing relegation fears.
Crystal Palace need a goalkeeper badly and reportedly see Holy as a future first-choice with veteran Julian Speroni currently starting for The Eagles. Championship duo Derby County and Bristol City are also keen on the Czech Republic keeper.
Scott Carson has been Derby’s undisputed number one since joining from Wigan Athletic in 2015 and has played every one of their Championship games so far this season. And, at 32, the former England international still has plenty of time left at the top level. But signing Holy would provide Derby with some quality back-up and, for the first time, Carson with some genuine competition.
