Leeds United lining up move for Heracles forward

Championship side Leeds United are lining up a January move for Heracles striker Brandley Kuwas, according to Football Insider.

The 25 year-old has impressed for the Eredivisie side this season and is a reported target for Leeds’ manager Thomas Christiansen. The Danish boss is looking to bolster his attacking options with a couple of signings in January.

Kuwas, who can play as either an attacking midfielder or a striker, has scored 3 and got 9 assists so far for Heracles. They are currently 10th in the league but he has been one of their standout players this season and will be on a number of club’s radar this January.

He was born in Holland but represents Curaçao, of whom he made his international debut for in March. He started his career with FC Voledam and scored 15 goals for them in 3 seasons.

He then moved to Excelsior in 2015 but only stayed there for a season before he was snapped up by Heracles in the summer of 2016. He has never moved out of the Eredivisie but could do for the first time next month if Leeds get their man.

It is expected to be a busy month at Elland Road. The Whites are looking to bolster their squad as they look to push on into the Play-Offs and challenge for promotion. There is also expected to be some outgoings as well.

Leeds face Hull City in another Yorkshire Derby at Elland Road on Saturday and will be hoping to win to build on their recent positive form.
