Sky Bet League One promotion hopefuls Bradford City are believed to be considering a move for Plymouth Argyle midfielder Ruben Lameiras during the January transfer window according to The Sun.
The 22-year-old Lisbon born left-sided midfield ace is struggling for regular starts at Home Park and could be available for transfer in next month’s transfer window.
It has been reported that Sky Bet League One club Bradford City are ready to move for Lameiras while The Bantams could face competition from league rivals Oldham Athletic for the player’s signature.
The midfielder has made just 13 appearances for Argyle since joining the club in the summer as a free agent. Lameiras will be disappointed not to have played a greater role for The Pilgrims after enjoying a productive two-season spell at Coventry City prior to his move to Home Park in which he made 69 appearances and scored seven goals.
Lameiras joined the Tottenham Hotspur academy system at the age of 16 and featured for the club at both under-18 and under-21 levels. The midfielder spent four years on the books at White Hart Lane before joining Coventry City after a successful trial spell with The Sky Blues.
It is thought that Plymouth Argyle could be open to allowing the player to leave the club on a loan deal or on a permanent basis.
