Nottingham Forest kept up their push for a play-off place in the Sky Bet Championship after battling to a 3-2 victory over Bolton Wanderers at The City Ground.
The Trotters pushed Forest to the limit and the visitors had more goalscoring chances in the match. As much as the visitors were wasteful in front of goal, Mark Warburton’s men were clinical and goals from Barrie McKay, Joe Worrall and Ben Brereton fired The Reds to victory.
The result leaves Forest seven points behind the top six and after the match, fans took to Twitter to give their views on their side’s performance.

On paper that was a 5 goal thriller here . In reality it really wasn’t! Took our chances well and somehow let in another 2. Wins a win though. Brereton and Bouch were great coming on. 30 points up! #nffc

As things stand results are far more important than performances. Today wasn’t great but the 3 points were. #nffc

3 things from today… 1. The referee was shocking 2. Bridcutt should have been man of match 3. Murphy is terrible #nffc
