Woking left-back Nathan Ralph is being tracked by Sky Bet League One pair Charlton Athletic and Oxford United according to The Sun.

The 24-year-old Dunmow born defender joined The Cards in summer 2016 after being released by Sky Bet League Two club Newport County and the player has gone on to impress at Kingfield Stadium.

It has now been reported that both Charlton Athletic and Oxford United have sent scouts to watch the player in action while Scottish Premiership club Hearts are also said to be admirers of the full-back.

Ralph is under contract with Woking until the summer and with the player possibly looking to further his career higher up the footballing pyramid, the club could be forced to cash in on their prized asset in January rather than run the risk of losing him for nothing in the summer.

The defender started his career with Peterborough United but failed to make the grade at London Road and spent three years with Yeovil Town in which he was a regular for the club at Sky Bet League One level.

In summer 2015, Ralph joined Newport County but his stint at Rodney Parade was hit with injury woes and the player spent the second half of his season with the South Wales club on loan at Aldershot Town building up his fitness prior to his release.

Woking face Ralph’s former club Peterborough United in the second round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
