Fans of Sky Bet Championship club Queens Park Rangers have had their say on manager Ian Holloway’s post-match comments condemning some fans for leaving Loftus Road early during Monday evening’s 2-2 draw with local rivals Brentford.
The R’s found themselves 2-0 down following Bees striker Lasse Vibe’s double and some fans headed for the exit following the player’s second goal in the 81st minute.
After the match, Hoops boss Holloway criticised the fans who chose to leave early and missed the two quick-fire injury time goals from Matt Smith and Luke Freeman which rescued a point for the home side. The comments made an impact on some supporters who took to Twitter to give their views on Holloway’s rant.
I’ve changed my mind. Holloway shouldn’t be sacked, he should do the decent thing & resign. Out of his depth & clueless. #QPR

I don’t get all this ‘Holloway slammed/disrespected the fans’ he merely said ppl shouldn’t of left early. Some people are so sensitive 😆

Am I the only @QPRFC fan who liked Holloway’s rant! When there’s 15,000 in our ground and we score the place is rocking. Then players more up for it. He’s just showing a bit of passion/releasing some stress. Let’s just enjoy a great comeback. Stop being so sensitive #QPR 🔵⚪️

Bless Oli…#QPR. Says things in the heat of the moment. It’s okay, hopefully we’ll win on Saturday and break this “haven’t won away forever” duck.

Holloway wants to be careful what he wishes for. If he wants fans to stay at home he's going the right way about it #QPRBRE #QPR
