English Premier League club Liverpool could yet loan winger Ryan Kent to a Sky Bet Championship club after becoming unhappy with the youngster’s lack of game time offered in his current loan spell with German club SC Freiburg according to The Sun.

The 21-year-old Oldham born wideman joined the Bundesliga outfit on a season-long loan deal in August despite the Merseyside club receiving enquiries from at least three Sky Bet Championship clubs about the player’s services.

Leeds United, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United are all thought to have wanted to take the youngster on loan before the player was sent to Germany.

Kent has made just six appearances for Freiburg in all competitions this season and it has been reported that Liverpool are unhappy at the lack of first team action being offered to the player, It is now believed that The Reds could consider a recall for Kent so that the youngster can be loaned out to a club in England for the remainder of the season.

News of Kent’s potential recall could be of interest to Boro and Yorkshire pair Leeds United and Sheffield United and all three clubs could make fresh contact with Liverpool to offer to take the player on loan should his stint with Freiburg be ended.

Kent is a product of the Liverpool academy system and the player has made one senior appearance for the club to date although he was heavily involved with the first team during pre-season.
