In a thrilling match in South Yorkshire, Leon Clarke opened the scoring for the home side early on before Sheyi Ojo levelled matters just before the half hour mark. Ryan Sessegnon bagged a first half double either side of Clarke’s second goal of the match for Sheffield United as Fulham went into the interval 3-2 up.

The second half saw Fulham race into a 5-2 lead with Ojo netting his second goal of the game before Sessegnon  completed a hat-trick.

Samir Carruthers and a third from Clarke late on saw the deficit reduced to one goal but Fulham hung on for the three points.
