Charlton boss Karl Robinson said: “We like what we see and we are sitting down and talking with him. But we will keep that internal for now.”

Best has made over 200 apperances at Championship level, scoring 35 goals, while in his 32 Premier League appearances he found the net on sixteen occasions. Charlton host MK Dons in the Sky Bet League One tomorrow, with Robinsons’ Addicks looking to close the gap on second-placed Wigan Athletic.
