Wolves’ World Cup winner being tracked by Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur

Wolves’ Morgan Gibbs-White is being tracked by Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur according to a report from The Sun.

Gibbs-White is one of the most promising youngsters in the Wolves academy and he has shown that recently. He was in the England U17s squad as they won the World Cup this year and while that was a great honour for him, it has also come with two of the best teams becoming interested in signing him.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have been very impressed with the 17-year-old midfielder and are now looking to make a £5m move to sign him. There is a potential opportunity to bring him up to one of these sided as well. Because of his age, Gibbs-White is unable to sign a new deal with Wolves until he turns 18. This gives these giant sides a chance to offer a big deal to the youngster to persuade him to leave the team he’s been at since he was 8-years-old.

What Wolves will hope to offer Gibbs-White in return for staying is a chance to break into the first team. He has already made a few appearances for the Black Country side and is more likely to break into their first team than he would at one of the interested teams. But the opportunity to move to one of the biggest clubs in the country is a big temptation, especially as all of the three interested have got good records of bringing youngsters through into their first team.
