Tonight Leeds United lost for the sixth time in seven matches in all competitions. Their latest loss came in the form of a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Derby County who now leapfrog the Yorkshire club into fifth.
The first goal of the game came in just the seventh minute. Ronaldo Viera robbed Tom Huddlestone of the ball in midfield and found Samu Saiz. The Spaniard then played a perfectly weighted pass through to Lassoga who beat Scott Carson with a powerful low drive at the near post.
It took until the 72nd minute for Derby to respond. Craig Forsyth’s broke down the left side before he put in an incredible cross (which was helped by some poor Leeds United defending) and found Sam Winnall who couldn’t miss from just a few yards out.
The winner came just eight minutes later, in the 80th minute, via the penalty spot. Referee Simon Hooper adjudged winger Hadi Sacko to have hauled down Tom Lawrence just inside the penalty area. Sam Winnall stepped up and sent Andy Lonergan the wrong way and, ultimately, sealed the victory for The Rams.
But how did Twitter React to Leeds Uniteds’ sixth defeat in seven games?
Twitter Reacts
No muscle again, no plan b. Christensen needs to sort it out otherwise he’ll be gone, 6 losses in 7 isn’t acceptable.

Team selection dreadful. Not good enough. Manager didn’t motivate the lads enough at half one to kill the game off. Gotta go I’m afraid.

Why did we ever give this man a 3 year deal and not keep monk, absolute joke, but it’s what supporting Leeds is about eh?

This is turning into a joke now, something needs changing ASAP. All new signings aren’t up for the fight bar Saiz, we were better under Monk

Not even surprised anymore

He’s too soft and the players know it. Seems nice bloke but not cut out for LUFC. Too many cheap foreign signings as well who aren’t good
