5 potential transfer targets for Reading this summer

Dean Cox– Injuries were Reading’s downfall in their play-off hunt last season, injuries to key players Gareth McCleary and Hal Robson-Kanu meant the Royals were without out-and-out wingers, key to a team who prides themselves on their flowing counter-attacking style. This is why Nigel Adkins is unlikely to leave himself short in this position this summer and the perfect player to fit in would be Dean Cox. He showed at Leyton Orient last season exactly what he’s made of; a nippy, tricky winger with pinpoint crosses and an eye for goal. 13 assists, 12 goals and a Play-off run last season would have certainly bumped his price up but he’s talented, still young at 26 and could definitely make the step-up from League 1 and be firing from the off.Dean Cox
