Aston Villa to rival Premier League giants for Polish goalkeeper

Aston Villa are interested in a move for Polish goalkeeper Mikolaj Bieganski, according to ESPN.

Bieganki, who is only 15 years-old, plays for Polish third division side Skra Czestochowa. He is also attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.

The youngster is touted as one of the best young talents in Poland. He has broken into the first-team at Skra Czestochowa and caught the eye playing for Poland U16s. It is expected that he will move to England in the next year or so.

Championship side Aston Villa are interested in bringing him to Villa Park. Their manager Steve Bruce is already looking for potential targets for the January transfer window. They see Bieganski as a possible addition to their youth ranks.

You get the impression that a move to Aston Villa will suit Bieganski more than a move to the Premier League. He will have more of a chance of breaking into the first-team at Villa than he would at Spurs or Manchester United.

Villa are expected to sign a goalkeeper or two in January. They have recently been linked with a move for Aberdeen goalkeeper Joe Lewis in recent days. After a slow start to the season Steve Bruce has managed to turn them around and they now look like genuine promotion candidates.

Bieganski could be another young talent from abroad who comes over to England to potentially further their career. If Villa can beat Spurs and Manchester United to his signature then it will be a very exciting transfer for Villa fans.
