Bristol City have teenage sensation on their radar

Sky Bet Championship club Bristol City are thought to be weighing up a move for young Motherwell defender Adam Livingstone according to the Bristol Post.

The 19-year-old left-back boasts plenty of pace and can also operate out wide further up the park. The youngster has impressed for Motherwell despite making just five senior appearances for the club.

It has been reported that a number of clubs are looking to sign the player as they believe that Livingstone could go on to enjoy a bright career in the game with the right level of coaching and one of those clubs thought to be tracking the youngster is said to be Bristol City.

Livingstone has made two outings for The Steelmen so far this season with both of those appearances coming in the Scottish League Challenge Cup. The player scored for a young Motherwell side in their 2-1 victory over Queens Park in August.

The defender is out of contract at Fir Park in the summer and could be available for a bargain tribunal fee. It is thought that scouts of Bristol City have travelled to Scotland to watch Livingstone in action and have been impressed by what they have witnessed.

Livingstone made his senior debut for Motherwell as a substitute in a 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock in May.
