Gary Hooper is a January target for Crystal Palace, West Brom and Brighton, according to a report in The Sun.
Hooper is currently the joint-top goalscorer in the Championship with 7 goals, which have come in his last 7 games.
The former Celtic striker joined the Owls on a three and a half-year deal from then Premier League side Norwich City in January 2016, for £3 million, following a successful loan spell.
He scored his first goal in an Owls shirt in a 2-1 defeat at MK Dons in December 2015, which sparked a run of 6 goals in as many games.
He broke his Hillsborough duck just 5 days later in a 4-1 victory over Wolves.
An injury-hit campaign in 2016/17 was to follow, but Hooper was a big part of the Owls winning six games in a row at the back-end of the season. It was no surprise that when he played no part in the play-offs, through injury, Wednesday suffered defeat to Huddersfield in the semi-finals.
Hooper started his career at Grays Athletic and Southend before loan stints at Leyton Orient and Hereford.
43 goals in 77 league starts for Scunthorpe saw Celtic snatch up the prolific striker.
In three years at the Glasgow Giants, Hooper scored 63 goals in 90 SPL starts. He also appeared in the Champions League and Europa League.
Hooper returned to England with Norwich City and helped the Canaries back to the Premier League via the play-offs in May 2015.
When he scored his first Premier League goal in November 2013, Hooper gained the unique record of scoring in all the top four English leagues, the National League, National League South, the Champions League and Europa League.
