Hull City’s Kamil Grosicki is “the best player in the league” according to David Meyler

Hull City midfielder David Meyler has praised his team-mate Kamil Grosicki after the Tigers recorded an emphatic 6-1 win over Birmingham City on Saturday, as per a report by the Hull Daily Mail.

Grosicki scored and got an assist in the game. Melyer spoke highly of his colleague after the match, saying “when he’s bang at it, he’s unmarkable, he’s unplayable”. He later added “When Kamil fancies it, he’s the best player in the league, hands-down.”

Kamil Grosicki joined Hull in January from French Ligue 1 side Rennes. He earned the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for April in the Premier League last season but could not prevent Hull from relegation under Marco Silva. Despite being heavily linked with moves away in the summer, he was linked with Crystal Palace and West Brom, he has remained and is looking to move Hull up the table.

The Tigers have had a tough start to life back in the Championship this season under new boss Leonid Slutsky. They are 17th in the league with only 3 wins in 11. Nevertheless, Hull fans believe the team have turned a corner after their 6-1 win over Birmingham and the best is yet to come from the Tigers.

Next up for Hull, after the international break, is an away trip to in-form Norwich City followed by a trip to Oakwell to face Barnsley. Kamil Grosicki will be looking to add to his goal tally at Carrow Road. In the meantime, he will be playing for Poland and adding to his 52 caps for his country.
