This afternoon promotion hopefuls Wolverhampton Wanderers thrashed relegation threatened Burton Albion 4-0 at the Pirelli Stadium.
It took just five minutes for Wolves to open the scoring as Cavaleiro played a great flick on through to Diogo Jota who easily ran clear and fired past the Burton goalkeeper, Stephen Bywater, from the edge of the area. Only six minutes later Wolves had doubled their lead courtesy of Romain Saiss following a Stephen Bywater fumble.
The third came when Ruben Vinagre danced past the Burton defence and into the box before making it 3-0 and all but ending the game as a contest. Just past the hour mark Leo Bonatini latched onto the end of Matt Doherty’s cross-cum-shot to make it 4-0 and that’s how the game ended.
Now it’s time for the Twitter reacts where we see just how the fans of each club reacted on Twitter.

Same result but at least Tuesday it was silly errors. Today it was men against boys. The gulf was there to see. Didn’t happen last season

To think how Mccrory and Mous could be playing instead of Warnock and Buxton…

If only Ben Robinson had the balls to question Nigel as the manager and not his mate we might move forwards!!!
