Arsenal and Manchester United tracking young Villa ace

Scouts from English Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Manchester United are understood to have watched Aston Villa forward Keinan Davis in action according to the Birmingham Mail.

The 19-year-old Stevenage born hotshot is one of the brightest young players in the Villa first team squad and the youngster is being tipped to enjoy a successful career in the game.

Davis scored his side’s first goal in a 4-0 derby victory over Burton Albion in the Sky Bet Championship at The Pirelli Stadium on Tuesday evening and it has been reported that a number of scouts from top flight clubs were watching the player in action including representatives from former English Premier League champions Arsenal and Manchester United.

The young striker has already featured for Villa on eight occasions this season and has scored in the club’s last two league fixtures on the road. Davis only made his Villa first team debut in January but the player is quickly becoming a regular at Villa Park.

Should Arsenal and Manchester United be impressed with what their scouts have witnessed, the two clubs could open a bidding war for Davis’ services during the January transfer window. The player still has plenty to contribute for current club Villa and they would only consider a sale should a substantial transfer offer be submitted.
