Sheffield Wednesday 2 – 4 Sheffield United – bragging rights to Blades in Steel City derby
To the victor, the spoils is the saying and that is how Sheffield will be divided as a city tonight. Pubs and houses will bear testament to the glory and the gloating of United fans after their victory over rivals Wednesday.
Tomorrow the same gloating and these same glories will see the bragging rights transferred to schools and workplaces as United fans continue to preen themselves in victory.
It is also a victory where United’s three points lifts them to fourth in the Sky Bet Championship and, conversely, leaves city neighbours Wednesday in 10th place and five points adrift.
