Wolves draw Manchester City in the Carabao Cup – Twitter Reacts

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been drawn away to Premier League giants Manchester City following their extra time victory at home to Bristol Rovers in the 3rd round last night.

This will be the sixth time Wolves and Manchester City have played each other in this competition. The previous League Cup (Carabao Cup) meeting between these two sides came back in October 2011 where five Manchester City goals saw off Wolves as they reached the League Cup quarter finals winning 5-2 on the day.

Manchester City are unbeaten against Wolves in the last four games between the sides. The last time these sides met in any competition was 5 years ago in October 2012. Goals from Aguero and Nasri saw off Wolves but five years on the now Championship side will be very eager to change their poor record against Manchester City.

This is a big tie for Wolves and their fans will be extremely excited about it so here’s how the Wolves fans reacted to the news they’d be going to the Etihad.
