Leeds United draw Leicester City in the Carabao Cup – Twitter Reacts

Leeds United have been rewarded with an away tie against Leicester City following their victory at Turf Moor against Premier League Burnley on penalties.

This is the sixth time in the competitions history that these two have been drawn against each other. The last time was back in August 2010 as Leicester City won 2-1 at Elland Road to progress through to the 3rd round.

The last time these two sides played against each other in any competitions was back in January 2014. Leicester City once against came away victors as they edged past Leeds winning 1-0 at Elland Road. This came thanks to last gasp winner from David Nugent which help Leicester City on their way to the 2013/14 Championship title.

It’s obviously not the ‘big’ draw that the Leeds United faithful we’re hoping for but an away trip to the former Premier League champions isn’t bad! Here’s how the Leeds United fans reacted to the news of the cup tie.
