Impressive Leeds United statistics since Thomas Christiansen took charge

Leeds United lie top of the Championship and have impressed many so far this season. The appointment of Thomas Christiansen in the summer raised a few eyebrows but after 16 signings and an impressive start, many Leeds fans believe he is the man to take them back to the top flight. Here are 5 impressive stats since he took charge-

1. Leeds are the only unbeaten team in the Championship- After Cardiff lost to Preston on Tuesday night, Leeds became the only team to have not been beaten so far this season. They have managed to beat Bolton, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, Burton Albion and Birmingham City, whilst draw to Fulham and Preston.

2. Most clean sheets- Leeds have got the most clean sheets this season in the Championship so far, with 6 out of 7 games. They have only conceded 2 goals, both on the first day of the season against Bolton. This form is mainly due to the form of Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper.

3. Not conceded a goal at home- Christiansen wants to make Elland Road a fortress and the Whites have not conceded a goal at home yet this season.

4. Leading scorers in the Championship- Despite selling their top scorer from last season, Chris Wood, to Burnley, this has not affected Leeds yet. New signings like Alionski and Saiz have impressed and made Leeds a real threat going forward.

5. Best start ever for a Leeds United manager- Christiansen has played 9 in all competitions, won 7 and lost 2. This is a better record than any other Leeds manager ever.
