Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp has declared himself happy with the players available at his disposal despite the club’s stuttering start to the season according to the Birmingham Mail.

The Blues are hovering dangerously above the relegation zone in the Sky Bet Championship once again following a poor run of results.

Birmingham City have lost three consecutive league matches while they have only won on one of their six outings in the Sky Bet Championship so far this term.

The feel good factor surrounding St Andrews prior to the start of the season has gone a little flat but despite the club’s poor form, Blues manager Redknapp has admitted that he is happy with the squad of players available at his disposal and the former Portsmouth and Tottenham Hotspur boss is only planning to sign either one or two players in the January transfer window.

Birmingham City only survived the threat of relegation to Sky Bet League One on the final day of last season with a 1-0 victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate. Striker Che Adams netted the only goal of the match in the first half to leave the Blues two points clear of the drop zone.

Fans were hoping for a more comfortable campaign in 2017/2018 and there will be concern being expressed at the club’s poor start to the season.
