RWB Tony McMahon
McMahon’s excellent display against Bristol Rovers last week alongside his perfectly cemented spot in the side at right-back means that he will certainly be set to start against Peterborough United this weekend. With the defender’s capability of providing assists from set-pieces, he will be looking to utilise the height and physicality of Charlie Wyke once again this weekend.
CB Nathaniel Knight-Percival
Although Bradford City’s aim was to bring in a right-sided defender and they did so in securing the signature of Adam Thompson from Bury, it would be incredibly harsh to drop either of booth left-footed centre halves in Knight-Percival or Matthew Kilgallon who have started regularly for the Bantams this season. Knight-Percival was excellent against Bristol Rovers, especially considering the fact he player RCB as a left-footed defender.
CB Matthew Kilgallon
Kilgallon has started the season in excellent form for the Bantams and the classy defender is likely to feature once again this weekend against league leaders Peterborough United. Whilst he will have to cope with the danger Posh striker and League One player of the month Jack Marriot offers, his experience should be enough to keep Peterborough’s star striker quiet.
LWB Adam Chicksen
The energetic left-back managed to make his second appearance for the Bantams this season after his debut was cut short in an awful injury against Blackpool. Chicksen was very impressive in the Bantams clash against Bristol Rovers last weekend and his fantastic crossing ability will be incredibly useful with Charlie Wyke lurking up front for the Bantams.
