Hull City defender Ola Aina has been cleared by FIFA to be allowed to make his Nigeria debut tomorrow, according to the Daily Post.

The young defender was illegible to play for Nigeria in their last match against Cameroon in Ugo, due to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) not giving him international clearance on time.

However, he can now play when Nigeria face Cameroon again tomorrow night. Aina was born in Southwark in England but holds a Nigerian passport. He has featured for England at U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 Level, but has decided to switch his allegiance to Nigeria.

Aina, 20, recieved his first call-up to the Nigeria national team last week. He is currently on loan to Championship side Hull City from Premier League Champions Chelsea. He has played for Chelsea twice. He has played in every match for Hull this season, making one assist from right-back. He has impressed so far with the Tigers at right-back and has already made the right-back position his own.

Hull boss Leonid Slutsky used his good relationship with Chelsea owner Roman Ambramovic, a fellow Russian, bring Aina to East Yorkshire. It was his first signing for Hull and Aina’s first loan move away. Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wanted him to gain some first-team experience. Aina was also joined by fellow Chelsea team-mate Michael Hector at Hull. 19 year-old Filato Tomori, who spent some of last season on loan at promoted Brighton, has also made the move from Chelsea to Hull. He secured his move to the KCOM Stadium late on Deadline Day.
