Swindon suffered their second loss in as many games as Barnet came out 4-1 victors at a toxic County Ground. These are my ratings for Swindon’s team today.

Lawrence Vigouroux-  The Chilean keeper and Robertson were at fault for Barnet’s opener, and he didn’t command his box well. Despite being a good shot-stopper, he needs to improve on his distribution and communication. However, he couldn’t do anything for the other three goals. –3

Ben Purkiss-  The former Vale captain didn’t have a good day at all. His passing was poor, and he didn’t contribute to alot. Andre Blackman was constantly getting past a slow Purkiss. -2

Chris Robertson-  For the first goal, Robertson should’ve cleared the ball instead of waiting for Vigouroux to claim it. He didn’t look convincing, and he continued his poor form into the second-half. -2

Olly Lancashire- Considering his wife went into labour he shouldn’t have been playing. Gave away a penalty in the first-half, and was subbed off at half-time to visit his wife in hospital. -2

Chris Hussey- Set up Town’s only goal of the game, but his set-pieces were very poor. Didn’t do much apart from setting up the goal. -3

Matt Taylor- Matt Taylor might’ve been a good player ten years ago, but he isn’t anymore. James Dunne should’ve been playing instead of Taylor. He was like a crab with his passes either going sideways or backwards, but most of the times his passes didn’t even go to a Town player. Deservedly subbed off at half-time. -1

Amine Linganzi- Didn’t do a whole lot wrong. Had a chance in the second-half to make it 2-1, but failed to score. Wasn’t a great performance but he was one of the better players. -4

Timi Elsnik- The youngster tried to create chances, but he faded away in the second-half. Like Linganzi he was one of the better players. -4

Donal McDermott- Was doing okay in the first-half. He was putting balls into the box, and he was finding alot of space down the right side. However, he stupidly lunged in on Barnet’s Tutonda and got himself sent off. -3

Keshi Anderson- No idea why the Crystal Palace loanee was being played out wide. Anderson, possesses alot of pace however, he isn’t a winger, and most of his dribbles were ineffective. -3

Luke Norris- He tries the hardest out of the team, but his finishing needs to improve. However, he managed to notch a consolation goal late on, although he could’ve had more. -4

Substitutes

Dion Conroy’ 45 (Replaced Olly Lancashire)-  Was alot better than Robertson. He didn’t do alot wrong, and he wasn’t at fault for any of the goals in the second-half. -4

Paul Mullin’ 45 ( Replaced Matt Taylor)- Mullin didn’t do alot, but like Norris, he hunted down every ball and was trying when most had given up. -4

Kaiyne Woolery’ 65 ( Replaced Keshi Anderson)- He came on just after the third goal. Woolery didn’t do alot, and you could be forgiven for forgetting that he was on the field. -3

Manager

David Flitcroft- For the second week in a row he got it all wrong. He played Anderson out of position, played Olly Lancashire who had other things on his mind and he shouldn’t have started Taylor. -2
