ROUND UP: Top five transfers of the whole summer.

Last night at 23:00 the transfer window slammed shut in England. After long two months, hundreds of deals were finalised and completed. In this article we’ll be looking at five of the best deals from the summer.

1) Martyn Waghorn

Rangers to Ipswich Town

Martyn Waghorn joined Ipswich Town on August 7th for a fee of just under £1,000,000. The 27-year-old striker signed a two-year deal which will keep him under contract at the club until 30th June 2019.

Since he joined the Tractor Boys he’s scored plenty. In the four league games he’s featured in this campaign he’s scored a very impressive four goals. His goals per minute ratio is also incredible so far with him scoring one goal every 63 minutes on average.

He’s currently looking like an excellent acquisition by Ipswich Town and if he carries on this great form he’ll certainly be worth the relatively small fee they paid Rangers for him.
