ROUND UP: The top three transfer deadline day signings.

Transfer deadline day is over and the transfer window has slammed shut but which of today’s transfers are the most impressive? We look at three transfers that really do stand out amongst the rest

1) Jota

Brentford to Birmingham City

26-year-old Jota today signed for Harry Redknapps Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee although it has been wildly reported that the fee was just over £6m. Despite much interest from the Premier League, Fulham and Middlesbrough, Birmingham City managed to bag themselves an absolute bargain on deadline day!

He’s signed a four-year deal and surprisingly, given the clubs size, this is Birminghams’ record transfer fee spent.

In an interview Jota said ” am very happy to be here, I think I have come to a big club for the Championship and I think it can be a big year for us.” he then added “Birmingham is a big club, has a big manager, the manager is one of the most important managers in England, I think we have a good team, good players, a good team to try and go up.”
