Wolves keeper goes out on loan to League One side Oldham

Oldham have signed goalkeeper Jack Ruddy on loan until January. It is likely that this will be the League One sides last piece of business before the window slams shut.

He started his career with Rangers, but moved to Spain to play for Raul Maurica. However, he never made an appearance for the club, and he signed for Bury in 2014. The youngster made one appearance for The Shakers before signing for Wolves.

Oldham have signed ten players this season. Craig Davies, Dan Gardner, Rob Hunt, Courtney Duffus, Gyamfi Kyeremeh, Johny Placide, Ben Wilson, Eoin Doyle and Kean Bryan have all joined the League One outfit. Ruddy has become the clubs eleventh signing of a busy summer for Oldham.

Ruddy will be unavailable for The Latics game against Charlton on Saturday. Charlton currently sit in fourth place in League One, and they will take on an Oldham side very low on confidence. However, with experienced striker Eoin Doyle also signing for The Latics they may be able to get their first win of the season.

Oldham are currently winless in League One and they occupy bottom spot in the division. Oldham recently lost to Blackpool 2-1. After years of staying up by the skin of their teeth will this be the season they finally go down?
