Struggling Latics loan Manchester City youngster

Sky Bet League One club Oldham Athletic have signed utility player Kean Bryan on a loan deal from English Premier League neighbours Manchester City according to The Latics’ official website.

The 20-year-old Manchester born defender has been with City since the age of 11 but the player is yet to make a first team appearance for the club.

Bryan, who can also play in a midfield role, has now joined struggling Sky Bet League One club Oldham Athletic on loan until January and the youngster will be looking to make his mark at first team level for The Latics.

After spending the last few seasons fighting relegation to Sky Bet League Two, Oldham Athletic have started this season poorly and have lost all four of their league fixtures to date. Manchester City prospect Bryan made 13 appearances for Bury last season during a loan spell at Gigg Lane and the player will hope to help his new temporary employers turn a corner following their poor form.

Bryan is an all-round talent and the player should bring plenty of qualities with him to Boundary Park. The youngster can take free-kicks and penalties while his energy can see him used in a box-to-box midfield role rather than in defence. The England Under-20 international is a raw talent and should be a solid addition to the Oldham Athletic squad.
